## Frequently asked questions

### Do I or my child need any prior experience?

No. Our classes are designed for absolute beginners. If you already dance, you keep growing with us — Jessy meets everyone right where they are. From your first beat to your own choreography. You only need comfortable clothes, indoor shoes, and the urge to move.

### How much does a trial class cost?

The first class is free. You or your child come along, join in, and decide afterwards in your own time whether it fits. Sign up via WhatsApp or the contact form.

### My child is shy. Does Hip-Hop still work?

Yes, especially then. We don't run pressure performances or graded classes. Jessy teaches so each child grows at their own pace. Many shy kids find their voice with us — in a way that fits them.

### Aren't I too old for Hip-Hop?

Adults from 18 to 80 dance with us. Hip-Hop Fitness is Oldschool Hip-Hop combined with movement that does your body good. You don't need any dance experience. Energy before perfection applies to every generation.

### How does the semester system work?

We bill per semester — Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. You book a class for the whole season. If you come 2× per week, you get a 10% discount. Siblings and mother-daughter pairs get 10% too.

### Where is the studio? How do I get there?

Bahnhofstrasse 44, 8180 Bülach. Three minutes on foot from Bülach station. Reachable by S-Bahn from Zurich HB in 20 minutes. Parking in Bahnhofstrasse and the Glasi quarter nearby.

### What do I or my child need to bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move freely in. Clean indoor shoes or sneakers used only inside. A water bottle. For classes under age 8: parents are welcome to stay during the first class.

### What does a typical class look like?

Warm-up to current beats, then basic steps or a choreo block, then a shared choreo, then cool-down. 45 or 60 minutes, always energy, always rhythm. With Kids and Minis lots of play, with Tweens and Adults real Hip-Hop steps.

### What if I don't want to continue after the trial?

No problem. Trial means: come, try, decide. If it doesn't fit, there's no hard feeling. You've invested nothing more than an hour of movement. And maybe taken away a small new experience.

### Does the studio do performances or competitions?

Currently not regularly. At Dance Vibes, the focus is weekly fun in dancing, not stage pressure. If a group wishes to perform something small, we do it together — voluntarily, relaxed, without judgement.

### How do I best reach the studio?

By public transport: S5 or S22 from Zurich HB takes 20 minutes to Bülach station, then 3 minutes on foot to Bahnhofstrasse 44. By car: A51 exit Bülach, parking on Bahnhofstrasse and in the Glasi quarter — 5 minutes on foot. By bike: cycle path along the Glatt river, bike rack in front of the studio.

### Am I welcome if I come from Kloten, Embrach, Glattbrugg or another nearby town?

Absolutely. About half of our students come from the Zurich Unterland and Glattal area — Kloten (10 min), Opfikon-Glattbrugg, Embrach, Eglisau, Niederglatt, Bachenbülach, Hochfelden, Rümlang, Bassersdorf.
